When, our owner, Rock was 14 years old he began his career as an apprentice under Kieley Electric in Grafton. He credits Ralph and Lee Kieley as his mentors. Next, he attended North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS). In 1978, he received his Journeyman License and began working for Comeau Electric, building the Columbia Mall in Grand Forks. When the Mall was finished he joined Bechtel Cooperation and worked on the construction of a Coal Fired Power Plant in Beulah, North Dakota. In 1981, he returned to Grafton, his hometown, to start his own business - Rock's Electric Construction. Starting that first year in business and continuing until today, it is very important to Rock that he offers quality work at a fair price. His company also takes pride in the tradition of community support.
